Thank you for visiting VANTAGE POINT and for taking the time to learn
more about me. All of the programs and products I offer share a common
goal: to help people redesign their lives around what they do best and care
about most.

I have a commitment to making coaching affordable for as many people as
possible. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you know you have the
motivation to re-think your life or go for something new, and would like to
give coaching a try.

COACHING & CONSULTING BACKGROUND...

I am a graduate of the 2-year "Coach U" program (www.coachu.com) and
have completed over 200 hours of training in personal and professional
coaching. As an enthusiastic, life-long learner, I am enrolled in the Graduate
School of Coaching, and affiliated with both its parent organization,
Coachville, and the Philadelphia Area Coaches Alliance.

In 2001, I founded
Vantage Point Coaching & Consulting and began
working with clients by phone and in person on diverse areas of interest,
including:

· Career and school transitions

· Resumes and interview preparation

· Development of business ideas and writing projects

· Strategies for managing time and home environments

· Self care and stress reduction

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE...

My previous education includes a BA in philosophy (Williams College, 1976)
and an MS in geology (U. of California, 1986). After college, I worked first as
an intern for the Friends Committee on National Legislation (Washinton
D.C.), and then for four years as a Professional Editor, overseeing the
production of college textbooks from manuscript to final printing
(Prentice-Hall, Inc., and St. Martin's Press).

After transitioning into geology, I worked for another four years as a
Scientist and Manager for an environnmental consulting firm, supervising
the work of a groundwater studies group and managing environmental
impact studies.

In 1990, during a move from Massachusetts to the Philadelphia area, I
decided to leave my career in environmental studies and become a full-time
parent. Since then, I have raised three children (now 17, 16, and 11), started
a home-based business, and developed my new career in coaching and
consulting.
